Graduation Celebration & Christmas Party

The graduation celebration and party happened almost as planned, but the stormy weather meant that the number of students was much smaller than expected, so the graduation and party was held in J205. About 50 people attended.
Congratulations to Tamer, Stase, Armando, Hai Yan, and Isabel who did the best job ever of singing the "Happy Christmas" song, and to Matevos who joined them for the last three lines. After their song, everyone present enjoyed a quiz game with prizes, jokes, another song, some fine speeches, and a few LINC Youth videos, including one on Computer Networking "starring" Paula's son!
After the LINC 6 and ELT students received their graduation certificates, we had brunch - a meal between breakfast and lunch. People brought plenty of delicious food, desserts, and drinks to share.
If anyone has photos, it would be great if you could post them.
A big thank you to everyone for coming to help make this day special for the LINC 6 and ELT graduates, and best wishes to all for a very happy holiday!

Snow storm

Hi this is Ghaiath... I'm very sorry today because we couldn't celebrate. There was a hard snow storm therefore I went to school, but the party was cancelled. I heard there is another storm at the sunday. I hope to engoy with Xmas holiday, and merry Xmas for all.

I went today to school, but the weather conditions were awful, so I couldn't stay there
Now, I am at home, and I will start my homework soon.
If tomorrow the weather is better, I will go to New York city for a couple of days.

Hi, this is Joanne. There is a winter storm warning for tomorrow!  This means that there will be a lot of snow.I am not happy that i have to drive to Scarborough which is on the other side of Toronto. Be careful everyone and have fun at the LINC 6/7 graduation. Sing well! The food will be wonderful at the lunch- I am sorry to miss it.( and your singing) .Have a great holiday and see you in January. Don't forget to do your homework!

How to start a new topic / new post

1. Click on New Post at the top right hand corner of the Blog Screen.
2. Your screen will now change to a Composing Box.

4. Type your post in the composing area. You can use Bold, Italics, numbers, bullets.

6. If you want, click on Preview at the top right hand corner of the Composing Box to see what your post will look like on the Blog.
7. Click on the orange Publish Post button below.
8. You will see a message that your publishing was successful.
9. Click on View Blog to see your post on the blog!
